Carmel, CA, 2018 - Terraced herb and vegetable beds
At a home on the Carmel River, a series of terraces were excavated and tilled with homemade compost. 16 foot redwood beams retain the soil and provide stepped access to seasonal food production. In this image, all plants were started from seed at the property, making this a fully fledged horticultural install of about three months.
